This week, the ACCC handed down its report card on the NBN, with a few surprises along the way — including how the wireless parts are underperforming and why we should — apparently — all be getting excited about 12Mbps NBN plans and their ability to manage multiple HD Netflix streams.
Yes, you read that right. It’s a weird claim, and we’re joined by ZDnet’s Chris Duckett to try to see if we can make any sense of it at all. As Chris wrote at ZDNet, the ACCC is oddly OK with the super-low fixed wireless NBN speeds too.

Meanwhile, in the gaming space, the big news of the week is Sony killing off the PlayStation Store as we know it — if you’re still using a PS3, PSP or PS Vita console.
Alex chats with Matt Sainsbury from Digitally Downloaded about why this matters, why games are art and which games you should make a point of picking up before they’re gone for good. Matt has some specific views about this, and why Sony’s not respecting the art of games, as he wrote over at his site.
