We are once again back in telco land with a fresh serving of our soup du jour, the NBN. But before we get to the main course, TPG and Vodafone have a first course of 5G fixed and mobile broadband with actually-really-we-promise-it’s-unlimited data to tempt you.

Is it really unlimited? What’s the benefit of opting for an $85/month fixed broadband service with unlimited data over an $85/month mobile broadband service with unlimited data anyway?

And what will this do to the NBN, as it announces 300,000 more fibre upgrade locations, revises its corporate plans to give it significantly shorter range predictive powers?

To answer some — but possibly not all — of these questions, we’re joined by ZDNet’s Chris Duckett!
