What happens in Vegas… gets reported on from a medically safe distance.

The tech news cycle early any year is dominated by the big CES show in Las Vegas. We’ve reported live from the show floor before, but in 2022, travelling to the USA didn’t seem like a wise move. Still, the show must go on… but what tech impressed us from afar, and what gadgets made us wonder about what the heck was going on in Vegas?

A smart speaker… that might get just a little dumber.

At the same time, Google lost a big court case in the US against smart speaker maker Sonos… and it’s a case that could change how you use your smart speakers worldwide.

We’re joined this week by Jennifer Dudley Nicholson from News Corp, Leigh Stark from Pickr and a special magical mystery guest. Keep an ear out for him…
