We’ve talked a lot about scams and their impact on the show this year, and this week the banks announced they were doing their bit via the Fraud Reporting Exchange, or FRX.

But can FRX take the scammers down? We have doubts.

Australia’s also a big, brown wide land and one where it’s all too easy to find yourself in trouble and a long, long way from any kind of mobile phone signal. But — sound the Tim-Alarm! — Apple’s announced availability of Satellite SOS. in Australia and New Zealand.
